IMRB’s WAM initiative detected a slight decrease in web activity compared to the first few days - overall IPL related page visits fell to just over 11 million; that’s 2 million less than the previous day represented by just under 1 million visitors at an all India levels. Whether these are the numbers stabilizing after the initial excitement and hype or a genuine decrease in interest, time will tell. IPLT20 outperformed Youtube by generating over a 100,000 more page views than YouTube and dwarfed website like Yahoo who generated just over a 170,000 visits.
