Research hierarchy

Unit Head As a UH, you will have P&L responsibility for your business or performance unit. You will be responsible for managing the financials of your unit, building its equity through strategic planning, investing in high quality thinking and leveraging the company ‘s and the unit’s specialist strengths to gain competitive advantage for IMRB in the market place.
Group Business Director As a GBD, you will be mandated with generating new business and managing the turnaround of existing business goals by effective resource planning, people and process capability building. At this level you will be expected to deliver high quality thought leadership, manage key strategic client relationships, ensure bench strength for your group and manage employee expectations.
Insights Director As an ID, you will graduate from independently handling projects to independently managing client relationships, managing teams and developing their research skills, managing their performance and above all being fully responsible for great research insights and solutions. This will be the beginning of your growth into being a trusted advisor. You will also get exposed to business generation as your first step towards moving to the next level.
Research Manager During the first three years in IMRB you will learn basic market research skills. You will learn to dissect client briefs, see how they get converted into great market research designs, write world class questionnaires and independently manage projects. You will interface with clients and learn about their problems and develop skills to look for solutions to resolve them
